NY 219 Civil Air Patrol Squadron Meeting  20 October 2009

The meeting began at 7:30pm.

Lt. Antonacci presented Safety Down Day to both Senior members and Cadets. All those who did not participate in either of the 2 lectures will face the loss of flight privileges.

Ground Team School has been planned for 5 December 2009.

SLS has been scheduled for 7-8 November 2009 at HPN. Contact Capt. Brana for further information. All members must complete Form 17 and open a Specialty Track to take this course.

A SAREX is scheduled for 14 November 2009 to be run in conjunction with Catskill Mountain Group.

A Wing SAREX is scheduled for 12 December 2009.

Lt. Wolff made the Drug Demand Reduction presentation to the cadets. In addition he presented slides and a review of both the IACE-Canadex trip of October 2009 and the New York Wing Encampment, held at Stanton ANG base in July 2009.

The 2010 encampment is scheduled for 29 July 2010 through 8 August 2010. Staff training will be held on 21-23 May 2010 and 25-27 June 2010. Please speak to Lt Wolff for further information.

The Wing Conference is scheduled for 30 April 2010 through 2 May 2010.
