NY 219 Civil Air Patrol Squadron Meeting  8 September 2009

The meeting began at 7:40pm

Major Chioffi made the Safety Down Day presentation.

The following issues were addressed:

Pilots and crews are missing small items that need to be checked.

Procedures for Squawks. When found contact the FRO and process the necessary paperwork. Fill out the Log sheets, make them complete and correct. PIC (pilot in charge) will be held responsible and incomplete forms my result in the grounding of that pilot.

Check fouled plugs and fueling planes.

Zulu gate access. The electronic entrance will be completed by the end of the month.

Lt. Gasparino discussed the From 78. Instructions can be found in 62-2.
