Captain Jill Silverman called the meeting to order at 7:20pm.

A change of Command Ceremony will be held next week.
On Saturday, September 6, 2008 a SAREVAL will be held at LIG, we will meet in White Plains, Captain Joe Wooley will be in charge of the group. The following people will be attending: Andreas, Art, Steve, Cort and Frank.
On Saturday, September 13, 2008 a SAREX will be held in White Plains. The following people will be attending: Andreas, Art, M. Costa, Jill, Steve, Cort, Walt, Tom, Mitchell and Rocky.
All others interested in attending please contact Captain Silverman.
An SLS training program will be held in October. All interested need to choose a specialty track, see CAP Pamphlets, for a description. Each person should choose 2 tracks for training, each have different requirements both for study, course work and time.

Senior Members should look at the material for the Yeager Award, it is based on the book “Journey of Flight” and possibly take the on line exam.
Emergency Service personnel should look at FEMA classes offered on line and through local agencies. Required tests include ICS 100/200/300/400/700/800.
Please remember to document all tests and other items.
Andreas of the Cadet Program is looking for assistance. Anyone interested in teaching a class should contact him.
