NY 219 Civil Air Patrol Squadron Meeting  1 September 2009

The meeting began at 7:35pm

Captain Silverman made the following announcements:

Thank you for your work and support of the Warbirds. The program was a success.

A farewell BBQ for Captain Falcon will be held on 2 September 2009 at 7pm.

A SAREX for Saturday 5 September 2009 is schedule for 8am.

Major Wooley made the following announcements:

Please check your email the night before and the morning of all SAREX.

Six (6) planes will be available and multiple squadrons have been invited to participate.

All crews are to carry a cell phone as a last line of Cell phones may be used on a VFR Mission. 15 minute check-ins are required of all pilots. In formation must include lat-long, fuel status and general location.

Effective 30 September 2009 the following forms must be used and submitted.

Form 104 – for pilots

Form 104A- for observers

Form 104B- for scanners

Form 109- for ground teams
