NY 219 Civil Air Patrol Squadron Meeting 7 July 2009

The meeting began at 7:15pm

Capt Silverman made the following announcements:

We will have our Subordinate Unit Inspection during the month of August. All staff members should be prepared to participate and assist with this inspection. Records must be brought up to date and files need to be checked.

ICS 400 must be completed for all IC, Mission Safety and Liaison Officers by September 30, 2009. If this has not been completed your status will be effected.

AYC training will be emphasized this summer.

Post September training will be modified to better utilize our skills.

Over time we should expect to become involved in some Homeland Security and Drug Interdiction programs under the direction of the Federal Government.

Our meetings will be moving to the Joint News Center in 2 weeks.

Lt Teichman gave a short lecture on the new radio frequencies. More information will be presented at the next meeting.

ACUT cars are ready for all those who took the class in April, 2009.
