NY 219 Civil Air Patrol Squadron Meeting 10 March 2009

The meeting began at 7:15pm

Capt Silverman and Major Wooley made the following announcements:

A SAREX is scheduled for Sunday, April 5, 2009. 8am start time. SDIS training will be available at HPN.

An Air Force SAR/EVAL is scheduled for June, 2009 at LIG.

Radio Operator Training classes Basic and Advanced will be held on April 21, 2009 at 7:30 pm.

CLC  2- 3 May 2009 please sign up with Capt Wooley.

Wing Conference will be at Lake George  April 24^th through 26^th.

North East Regional Staff Collage will be held at McGuire AFB, July 11^th through      July 18^th.

The Westchester Aero Modelers made a presentation. Mr. Taylor and his son Richard briefed us on the 1/5 scale model airplane. An in-depth description of range, capabilities, training requirements and local access was covered. Cadets and seniors are welcome to observe, train and join in at the group’s air field in Carmel, NY. Please check the “ Hat in the Ring” web site for further information.
